Hello. Welcome. Thank you for your interest in my work.
My name is Olivia and I'm a transformative counselor beneath the tall trees of Washington state. The unique web of support I offer my clients is rooted in seeing each of them as full, complex, shifting environments rather than lists of characteristics.
This approach was informed by my studies of herbalism, traditional women's health and ancient sciences like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Though the work I do now is focused on less tangible imbalances, the physical and spiritual lessons of my early studies round out the mental and emotional support I provide.
Women come to me to:
- resolve inner conflicts (eg fear, self-doubt, shame, self-criticism)
- step out of people-pleasing and into self- empowerment
- create and hold organic boundaries
- navigate narcissists, co-parenting, and parental alienation

- connect with and heal imbalanced relationships to parts of the body, mind, and spirit
- move through the womb-centered female transitions of menarche, pregnancy/ postpartum, and menopause
- heal their nervous systems and create lives that are nervous-system-centered
- build an herbal support system to replace (in part or full) pharmaceuticals
- move through big emotions with an empathetic, experienced witness
- take advantage of a holistic, empowered perspective that's survived many rodeos!
I only use the methods that have proven themselves the most consistently reliable through my own journeys of motherhood, divorce, narcissistic abuse, and ongoing traumas.
These methods factor in all four of your bodies (emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical) to create a transformative process that works at the deepest levels and takes the tedium out of recovery and growth.

• Empathy & Warmth •
I pride myself on creating a deeply compassionate, warm and non-judgmental space. An underlying issue for so many of the women I work with is being seen- we go through decades of being rejected for being ourselves or reprimanded for feeling 'too much' anger or sorrow. Getting to unload with an empathetic witness who does not think you're complaining and is not waiting for you to find the bright side, is better medicine than you might realize. Your time with me is when you get to feel 100% accepted exactly as you are.
• Experience & Perspective •
Many of my clients simply want to take advantage of my unique experience and perspective through a talk-based format. I find it beneficial to begin with a meditation in order to get out of your head a bit and connect with your nervous system, but you'll never be pressured to do something that doesn't feel right to you.
• Mind & Body •
However, if your life is being ruled by your trauma responses or past patterns, then somatic work, Internal Family Systems, creativity therapies and other methods for getting out of your rational, analytical brain are often the change you need.
These are also available for people who feel burnt out on talk therapy and/ or don't want to open wounds that could hinder their progress.
• Empowerment •
You are your own best healer, but you've been conditioned to put more trust in outside experts over your own internal information. I give my clients tools and encouragement to honor their own experience and rebuild trust with themselves. On my part, this means presenting ideas to you without an attachment to your acceptance of them. On yours it means strengthening your instincts about what is or isn't right for you and practicing speaking your wants and needs.
• The Therapeutic Life •
I give advice, book recommendations, herb suggestions, etc. etc. As above, I do not expect you to do all the things, these are just offerings of things I've found helpful. What I do want is for you to build a life where the balance of empowering : disempowering elements is more in your favor. And that goes far beyond one or two hours a week.
What to Expect from Me

Deep work is slow work, built on trust and consistency. That said, sometimes you just need a standalone fix so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
In addition to 'the talking cure', here are some of the services I offer which can be woven into an ongoing therapeutic relationship or make up a productive standalone session.
