About the Work

If sequestered pain made a sound, the universe would be humming all the time.

• Peter Levine •

Hello. Welcome. Thank you for your interest in my work.

My name is Olivia and I'm a transformative counselor beneath the tall trees of Washington state. The unique web of support I offer my clients is rooted in seeing each of them as full, complex, shifting environments rather than lists of characteristics.

This approach was informed by my studies of herbalism, traditional women's health and ancient sciences like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Though the work I do now is focused on less tangible imbalances, the physical and spiritual lessons of my early studies round out the mental and emotional support I provide.

Women come to me to:

- resolve inner conflicts (eg fear, self-doubt, shame, self-criticism)

- step out of people-pleasing and into self- empowerment

- create and hold organic boundaries

- navigate narcissists, co-parenting, and parental alienation

- move through grief and trauma

- understand and shift power imbalances in relationships, parenting, family dynamics, at work & more

- develop empowered communication

- recover from break-ups and divorce

- heal the effects of toxic and abusive relationships

- process and release emotional congestion and stagnation

- shift out of old patterns & into new ones

- connect with and heal imbalanced relationships to parts of the body, mind, and spirit

- move through the womb-centered female transitions of menarche, pregnancy/ postpartum, and menopause

- heal their nervous systems and create lives that are nervous-system-centered

- build an herbal support system to replace (in part or full) pharmaceuticals

- move through big emotions with an empathetic, experienced witness

- take advantage of a holistic, empowered perspective that's survived many rodeos!

I only use the methods that have proven themselves the most consistently reliable through my own journeys of motherhood, divorce, narcissistic abuse, and ongoing traumas.

These methods factor in all four of your bodies (emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical)  to create a transformative process that works at the deepest levels and takes the tedium out of recovery and growth.

Leaves Shadow

If you're on the fence, reach out immediately! Toss aside what you believe about traditional therapies and embrace all the different modalities that Olivia uses.

Working with her, I know how it feels to have someone on my side no matter what. She always validates my feelings, reminding me that they have a purpose, and helping me look into what that purpose might be.

I felt like our sessions were a safe space right off the bat. I also appreciate how she doesn't refrain from sharing her opinions and giving advice like traditional therapists do. She uses her life experience to support our sessions and that's been invaluable!

You are an ecosystem,
not a machine.

You're a complex and sensitive web of influences and associations that shimmers in the slightest breeze, not an assemblage of independently-functioning parts that can be taken out and spit-shined.

If the change you seek has been eluding you, maybe you've been looking for it in the wrong place: a system that's designed to fix machines, not to breathe life and balance back into wild things.

•• Menu of Services ••

Starred services can be combined with one other in a 90 minute session.

The others require at least 60 minutes.

*Internal Family Systems*

My favorite modality for gently and effectively resolving internal points of conflict stemming from fear, perfectionism, your inner critic, and more.

Somatic Guided Drawing

Dramatically reduce emotional overwhelm and long-held congestion with this meditative, body-centered outlet. This is not art therapy, which tends to be more centered in the conscious mind. This is a physical (somatic) practice that just happens to leave a visible track.

Plant Meditations

Medicalizing plants (symptom+plant= cure) is an improvement on pharmaceuticals, but cultivating a relationship with just a handful of plants that are for you is where you'll really revolutionize your wellness.

These plants aren't exotic or psychedelic (though they're all consciousness shifters in their way)- and that's the whole point. The natural world right under your own feet is more powerful than you can imagine.

*Womb Work*

NOT just for physical menstrual issues, connecting to the womb you've been conditioned to fear and resent is hugely transformative for grief, resolving issues from your past and lineage, and rooting into the true source of your power.

It's also a beautiful way to support moving through the stages of womanhood, from menarche to pregnancy and menopause.

*Talk Therapy*

While I offer a variety of alternatives for people who are 'talked out', if most of your talk therapy has been with professionals within the medical system (or within modern [light-worker] spirituality) then you'll probably find talking to me to be refreshingly different and hopefully liberating.

*Guided Meditations*

The analytical mind severely limits our ability to shift patterns and reconceptualize relationships. Gentle guidance from someone you feel safe with can allow you to feel changes that your brain resists and make extraordinary progress- that stays with you as a felt experience- in a very brief amount of time.

If you're suffering from the aftermath of a toxic or abusive relationship with a narcissist (or other personality disorder), please see the program I created just for you: Initiation by Narcissist.

My Process

I follow a Four Bodies framework to ensure deep, lasting transformations.

Incorporating your spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical bodies into  the process ensures that the work you're doing isn't just superficial.

Four & Four.png

The lines between these subtle bodies isn't always clear and there's a lot of overlap. But here are examples of ways we might work with each body.

Spiritual
+ Plant meditations
+ An at-home reverence practice
+ Womb or ancestor exercises

Emotional
+ Building capacity to sit with/ release emotions
+ Re-envisioning past experiences
+ Learning to 'relate' to aspects of your Self

Physical
+ Somatic work
+ Self-care prescriptions
+ An intuitive movement practice

Mental
+ Internal Family Systems work
+ Unwinding core beliefs
+ Practicing sovereign communication

Though a single plant meditation or IFS (Internal Family Systems) treatment can be radically transformative; deep, cohesive change usually unfolds over months, rather than weeks.

The most powerful factor is the relationship between client + practitioner.

With ongoing clients (meeting weekly or 2/monthly), the first session or two are dedicated to learning about you and developing trust. Ongoing clients tend to be navigating a difficult time in their lives or healing experiences from the past, whether those were traumatizing or have had a lasting effect in other ways.

To get started, email me here to set up a 20-minute initial consultation.

This is free of charge and is important for establishing compatibility.

What Clients Say

Before I found Olivia, I had done some "clinical" talk therapy, which was foundationally helpful but still limited. I realized that I was looking for something more spiritually-minded, human-centric, and attuned to the natural order of the world.

Olivia offered me the perfect middle ground – a supportive space, where I could just talk, as well as a guiding hand for the more metaphysical aspects of the human experience.

Her alternative approaches to working through issues were refreshing and would stay with me for weeks after our sessions. She gave me tools I could use in my daily life, particularly in relation to staying grounded and connected. She has a knack for visualization and meditation techniques that most standard therapists wouldn't even bother with, and I found these to be hugely helpful.

Moreover, Olivia was instrumental in helping me work through an incredibly stressful period of my life that descended on me unexpectedly and she continues to be instrumental in supporting my deeper, shadowed elements (childhood wounding, womb health, motherhood, etc.).

I feel that no matter the topic, she always has a wise perspective up her sleeve that reminds me of my humanness, my uniqueness. As a bonus, she exudes a comforting, motherly energy, while staying easygoing and cheerful – and we always have a good laugh or two... :) Thank you Olivia! <3

Olivia worked with my teen daughter and held space for her when she felt so far from me.  It was so important and so soul opening to have someone in a state of calm, with so much motherly love, to hear and hold my daughter when felt like I couldn't reach her.

You have saved a life, Olivia, and I am eternally grateful.

I am so grateful for Olivia's unique offerings and the way she holds space for us to remember.

She makes the simple and accessible, profound and healing.

Thank you for bringing your work to the world!

So much of what you shared with my daughter is aligned with how we live AND hearing it from you, and her having her own experience with you was powerful for her.

Your energy and the tone was also aligned for her and how she was able to integrate it.

I am grateful for YOU!

• Jules D •

When the world feels overwhelming, I am beyond grateful that you're in it!

Your vision of the world coupled with your life experience feels like an ancient wisdom that brings me back to the roots I had lost of my life journey.

Your teachings have truly helped me find balance and calm that I utilize now in my daily life.

Trying to co-parent with an ex who's seemingly incapable of just being straight with me is so stressful. And then my worry for our child takes that to a whole other level. Very very few therapists get what that's like and even fewer can give real, practical advice on how to navigate the impossible situations that come up. Olivia can.

She helps me understand his behavior and then make choices that prioritize the well-being of my kid and me. And keep our mother-child relationship strong.

And then she'll give you a recipe for reducing inflammation or ask you what your cycle's been like! We usually talk about relationships, parenting, emotional health- but she always reminds me that  those influence my physical health and vice versa.

I spent over a year researching and reaching out to mental health professionals in search of someone to talk with to work through some of the stuff I’m overcoming. I kept hitting road blocks and I should have taken them as a sign.

I realized that my values didn’t align with Western Medicine anyway and the answer I was seeking was in my insta feed the whole time!

I’ve been working with Olivia for over a season and it's been so helpful for better understanding myself and the relationships around me. I started with one of her classes where she demonstrated how much knowledge she has to share and her private sessions provide an opportunity to dive deep into the murky waters of the self.

She’s a safe harbor, I’m grateful that she has crossed my path and serves as my teacher during this phase of life.

• Maisha C •

I believe we’re at a transitional point in history where people

are recognizing that modern societies have abandoned many of the

fundamental elements required for optimal human mental health.
